Poolside Manor is looking for young, talented staff to join its flourishing team…

Lifeguarding is a great way to earn money during college/ 6th form years. Not only will you benefit from the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, something which can be used further down the line at university, it also provides individuals with key life skills – first aid, CPR and rescue techniques to name a few. Working as a lifeguard also looks great on anyone’s CV or personal statement. It demonstrates they are a team player and can work in a position of responsibility.

So are you aged over 16?
Do you think you could swim 50 metres in under 60 seconds and tread water for 30 seconds?
If so, you may just have what it takes.

Our Lifeguard courses take one week to complete and are held onsite at Poolside Manor. Successful candidates will be awarded the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (the industry standard qualification and prerequisite for any role as a lifeguard at PSM or any other pool)

This year, courses held at Poolside Manor during July and October Half term have continued to produce quality lifeguards and maintain a 100% pass rate that we are proud of.

There are opportunities for employment upon completion of the course. Evening and weekend shift work is highly flexible and pay reflects the high quality of staff we employ, allowing students to work fewer hours and still generate higher income than typical part-time jobs.
